Maintenance emergencies
Depending on the emergency, call, text or e-mail the owners at 360-265-3836 (Carollynn Zimmers) or email at [email protected] or, if unable to reach the owners for an emergency, call the WRM Strata management office (24 hrs). They will notify the on-duty person to take care of any emergency. The WRM 24-hour emergency number is (604) 932-1218. Please wait until business hours to call if possible. If all else fails, you could contact our housekeeping team, Tomas and Lucie, at 604-698-6610 but only between 8:30 AM and 6 PM unless you have a dire emergency outside of that time and nobody else has responded.
Check-In
Check in time: 14:00, 2pm; Late check in is not a problem since there is a keypad with coded access. Guests are provided with an access code 5 to 7 days before arrival.
Check-in Procedures:
- Adjust the thermostats. (15C = 60F, 20C= 68F). There are 5 thermostats (entryway, two in living room, bathroom, and bedroom). The thermostat on the rear living room wall across from the fireplace controls the fireplace flame. Turning this thermostat above room temperature turns the fireplace flame “ON” and turning it down turns the flame “OFF”. The fireplace fan is manually controlled by a separate switch on the side of the fireplace. The fan does not need to be on when the flame is on but it will help to distribute the heat better. The thermostat above the light switches to the left of the glass entry door controls the living room baseboard heater.
- Remember to clean the lint filter of the dryer each time. It fills up with lint pretty fast. The dryer is not real hefty so smaller loads will dry your items faster. Laundry supplies are on top of the washer for your convenience.
- There may be food items in the refrigerator and cupboards that you are welcome to use such as condiments, salt/pepper, coffee, etc. Please feel free to use these and replace them if appropriate. Let us know if you get low on other supplies like paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, etc. Paper towels are over the refrigerator and toilet paper is on a shelf in the bedroom closet. If you are staying for an extended period of time, we will expect to buy additional supplies per your own personal needs.
Check-out
Check out time: 12:00pm (noon). We try to accommodate late checkout if we don’t have guests arriving the same day. Please follow all checkout procedures and be sure to leave the common area key and the parking pass hanging on the key rack in the kitchen.
Check-out Procedures:
- Put dirty dishes in dishwasher and start cycle. Dishwasher soap “pods” are under the sink. Wash pots and pans by hand. If possible, please try to have the cycle complete and confirm the dishwasher is “OFF” before leaving the unit.
Special note: when the dishwasher finishes the cleaning cycle, it is best to open the door and pull both racks forward to facilitate drying. That is the only way to dry the dishes because, when you leave the door closed, the dishes don’t dry. The new dishwashers are built this way to be more energy efficient. - Take all garbage to downstairs dumpster in the locked room near the guest parking at the bottom of the driveway. Use the common area key to unlock the door. Common Area Key is on the key rack above the sink. Please replace the Common Area Key to key rack after each use.
- Strip bed and sofa bed (if used). Put all bedding, bathroom towels, kitchen towels into dry tub. Please hang any wet towels.
- Common Area Key: Hang on the key rack in the kitchen above the sink. Please be careful with the Common Area Key. It is a specially made key and costs $50 to replace. You will be charged a replacement fee if it goes missing.
- Guest Parking Pass: There are 2 guest parking passes, one for the visitor spot and one for the assigned parking stall #53. Leave them hanging on the key rack in kitchen above sink with the Common Area Key. Replacement cost is $75 so please do not lose it. You will be charged a replacement fee for that amount if it goes missing.
- Lock sliding glass door.
- Close all blinds and the sliding glass door shades.
- Turn off all lights, including the entryway ceiling light and the outside porch light above the doorbell.
Parking
How to get to the underground garage:
Traveling North on Highway 99 in Whistler, turn right onto Lorimer Road and take the first left onto Northlands Blvd. Take an immediate left turn into the underground parking garage of the Symphony Townhouse Units via the down ramp. You can park briefly in the visitors parking area while you get into the townhouse and retrieve the key that opens the secure parking area sliding door.
Where to park:
(Note: There are 2 guest parking passes, one for the visitor spot and one for the assigned parking stall #53.) The gated area parking stall is number 53 and is very tight. Getting a large SUV into the spot can be difficult if not impossible. The Common Area Key will open the rolling gate garage door to the underground secure parking area. Entry is on the right at the bottom of the ramp as you drive in. As you drive down the ramp, insert the Common Area Key into the lock to open the rolling gate door. The lock is on the left at driver window height at the bottom of the ramp. Or, walk to the people entry door, open it with the Common Area Key, walk thru and step on the sensor hose to open the rolling gate. There is a visitor parking area at the bottom of the ramp which is convenient to use for loading and unloading. Do not leave your car unattended in this location without the “guest parking pass”. This pass is in the kitchen over the sink. When you have finished unloading your car, proceed into the gated area to stall number 53. Do not leave the visitor parking pass in your vehicle when you are parked in stall 53. Please return it to the kitchen after each use.
